FEDERATION GRANTS

The Jewish Federation of Broward County seeks to partner with agencies in our community, and around the world, to provide the highest quality, most impactful programming possible, with the goal of addressing the most pressing needs, planning for the brightest future, and strengthening our Jewish people.

We accept proposals for funding in response to Requests For Proposals. Requests For Proposals are issued in November, and proposals accepted in February for Federation Grants. In addition, see below for the Dignity in Aging Collaborative Funding.

Notice to Israel/Overseas organizations
seeking funds from the Jewish Federation of Broward County

Covid-19 has dramatically altered how our Federation will approach the FY 21/22 funding cycle and as a result, the Israel/Overseas Impact Team will not be accepting Letters of Inquiry (LOI) nor will it review or consider unsolicited funding requests. Funding will be expressly limited to organizations currently being funded.

We are aware of the serious difficulties created by the pandemic. The way we serve our clients and participants has changed in response to the situation.  Sadly, a growing number of people now find themselves seeking assistance and the need has never been more acute. This is true for our Jewish community in Broward County, Israel and in Jewish communities around the world.

In order to deliver strategic and impactful funding, we have chosen to focus on high priority concerns involving existing programs, including how their clients have been affected.  As a result, we would not be able to give full and fair consideration to the worthy proposals submitted through an LOI process.

Our Federation appreciates your efforts on behalf of Jewish communities in Israel/Overseas and looks forward to a time in the future when we can reopen the LOI process.
