Using the online pledge system

WHY DO I NEED TO PUT MY NAME IN THE COMMENTS SECTION?

This will help us keep track of how many people each participant closed and to give credit to each individual person.

AM I ALLOWED TO CALL, TEXT, AND EMAIL?

Absolutely! Any and all outreach methods are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

I DID NOT GET AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO A TEXT, EMAIL, OR CALL. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you do not receive an immediate response, email your designated Federation Professional once you do. If you get a response from your call, text or email after Super Sunday has ended, please report your gift to pgottlieb@jewishbroward.org

THE VOLUNTEER ASKED TO BE SENT A CARD IN THE MAIL. HOW DO I RECORD THIS?

Send an email containing their request and information to your designated Federation Professional.

WHERE DO I RECORD UPDATES TO CONTACT INFO OR BILLING INFO ON A GIFT?

Any and all changes – or even special instructions – can be recorded in on the virtual pledge form. If you want to ensure that these changes are made, you may email these changes to kmoore@jewishbroward.org

THE PROSPECT TOLD ME THEY ALREADY MADE A GIFT THIS YEAR. HOW DO I RECORD THIS?

Please thank them for their generosity.

Tell them this payment was for last years pledge and remind them this call is for 2023 campaign and payment is not due until 12/31/23.

Include any information about prospects who have already made a gift this year in an email to your designated Federation Professional. If there are any other comments that should be recorded, please put them in the email as well.

THE DONOR WANTS TO MAKE A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. CAN I TAKE IT?

Yes! On the pledge form, you may input the credit card information and may differentiate between one time payments as well as monthly or quarterly payments.

Please take down the information and contact your designated Federation Professional and they will take it manually.

A VOLUNTEER RECEIVED A RESPONSE AFTER 5:00 PM. WHAT SHOULD THEY DO?

First and foremost, thank the donor for their generosity.

Then, please forward the response to Federation via pgottlieb@jewishbroward.org

Additional Pledge Questions

A DONOR WANTS TO ENTER A NEW PLEDGE TO THE CAMPAIGN FOR A NEW DONOR. HOW DO I RECORD THIS?

There are three ways:

Option 1 – you can input their information into the virtual pledge form and this will create an account for the new donor

Option 2 – the donor can visit https://jewishbroward.org/ways-to-give/make-a-donation/ to make a secure credit card donation or pledge and this will create their account

Option 3 – send an email to pgottlieb@jewishbroward.org with all of their information (name, address, number and email)

THE DONOR WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A SEPARATE GIFT FOR THEIR SPOUSE/CHILDREN AS WELL.

Not a problem. Simply take the information for the spouse and children (name, amount of the gift, mailing address) and forward it to Federation by email to pgottlieb@jewishbroward.org.
