PRE HIGH HOLIDAYS SECURITY CONFERENCE

In response to increased anti-Semitic activity in the United States and around the world, as well as a record number of mass shootings nationwide, The Jewish Federation of Broward County will be hosting a countywide Pre-High Holiday Jewish Community Security conference.

Anyone involved in religious or educational institutional security should attend.

VIRTUAL FORMAT:
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Broward County as well as the South Florida area, in an abundance of caution and with respect to those who wished to attend in person, we have decided to have the Security Conference as a virtual conference. We thank you for your understanding and hope that you will still attend the virtual event and gain valuable knowledge.

Learn how to react and what to do as we review active threat/shooter training as well as Stop The Bleed. Review No Cost/Low-Cost security options and procedures. Learn the basics of access control, video surveillance systems, intercoms, two-way radio communications, and locking devices. Receive information about evaluating potential threats to your institutions, buildings, and property. Learn about security and threat assessments. We will also review the Federal Non-Profit Security Grant Program.

Hear from law enforcement agencies and security experts who will discuss techniques to make your institution safer.
