Israel Experience Scholarships for High School Students
The Jewish Federation of Broward County is currently accepting applications from high school students seeking to participate in recognized Israel programs before high school graduation.
To qualify, participants must be:
- High School students, entering 10th to 12th grade in September. Note the program must be completed prior to high school graduation.
- Members of Broward County Jewish households (including interfaith families).
- Seeking to participate in a recognized teen program, designed to strengthen ties to Israel that lasts between 3 and 8 weeks.

Students may receive assistance once during their high school years.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: JANUARY 15TH and MARCH 15TH.
Along with submission of your application, complete the following:

Submit a full, signed copy of the family's most current income tax return.

Submit a short essay, written by the applicant telling us why they want to participate and what they expect to gain from their participation.

Submit a copy of the acceptance letter from the program the applicant will attend.

Agree to perform ten (10) hours of volunteer (community) service in the Jewish community prior to the trip - at the Jewish organization of choice.

Agree to write a note after the experience thanking donors and detailing the impact the program had or create a 5 – 10 minute video presentation of the experience.
