Impact Teams
The Jewish Federation of Broward County is privileged to host Five donor-led impact teams that provide expertise and advice on issues of interest to our community. These five teams:

Help identify critical issues facing community members

Work with Federation professional staff to seek solutions to those challenges.

Seek creative ways to make these issues real to our community

Look for ways to strengthen programs, agencies, and the community

Solicit and review proposals to address identified needs and make funding recommendations to the Jewish Federation of Broward County Board of Directors

Lead by example, giving of their time, expertise, and financial resources
Vulnerable Populations Impact Team
The Vulnerable Populations Impact Team advises the Jewish Federation of Broward County on programs and services to support the neediest and most at-risk members of the Broward Jewish community. This dedicated group is particularly concerned with issues related to:

Health and Disabilities Impact Team
The Health and Disabilities Impact Team advises the Jewish Federation of Broward County on programs and services to support members of the Broward Jewish community living with disabilities or health challenges. This dedicated group is particularly concerned with issues related to:

Developmental, mobility, sensory, cognitive, and invisible disabilities

Behavioral health, mental health, and substance abuse challenges

Serious and chronic health challenges

Autism spectrum, ADHD, ADD, and learning disabilities

Fertility challenges and genetic testing

Schools, camps, social, and enrichment programs for children with disabilities or serious health challenges

Vocational training, life skills training, housing, social, and enrichment programming for adults with special needs

Support for adults living with health challenges

Support for families of children or adults living with disabilities or health challenges

Israel and Overseas Impact Team
The Israel and Overseas Impact Team advises the Jewish Federation of Broward County on programs to support in Israel and Jewish communities around the world. This dedicated group is particularly concerned with issues related to:

Support of IDF-related programming (before and after service)

Marginalized and traditionally underserved populations
