Hurricane Idalia Relief Fund

As we witness the devasting impact of Hurricane Idalia, the Jewish Federation of Broward County stands ready to assist those affected by this natural disaster. Our collective efforts can make a tremendous difference in the lives of those struggling to rebuild and recover.

Idalia reached the mainland as a powerful Category 3 hurricane, bringing powerful winds and a storm surge of 10-15 feet to Florida’s Big Bend area and 4-7 feet to the Tampa Bay area. Tornado-related damage is expected to cost millions of dollars to repair, and large swaths of west and central Florida are experiencing power outages and flooding.

Jewish Federations are uniquely positioned to help at times of need. As the needs become clear, we will respond, as we always have – with empathy, urgency and compassion. To our Floridian neighbors, we’re here. The Jewish Federation of Broward County has launched the Hurricane Idalia Relief Fund.
