Women’s Philanthropy Kidney to Share

In September of 2018, Martha Gershun donated a kidney at the Mayo Clinic to Broward County Women’s Philanthropy Board member, Deb Porter Gill, a total stranger at the time, after reading her story in the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. Join us on February 15, 2022, at 7:00 pm to hear Martha and Deb tell the story of their powerful connection. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to hear Lori Ben-Ezra, Annual Campaign Chair, share her personal story of being an organ donor, and Rabbi Arnie Samlan, Chief Jewish Education Officer, will share how registering to be an organ donor can be a profound mitzvah.
