Student Awareness Day

Event Date and Time:

April 28 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

For over four decades, the Holocaust Documentation & Education Center has made efforts to combat the risks of antisemitism, bullying, hatred, and racism through multiple educational platforms, the largest of which are our Student Awareness Days. In this multicultural, diversified event, we bring students and Holocaust survivors together face to face for a day of impactful discussions and presentations aimed to eliminate prejudice everywhere. By creating this truly special experience, students gain new perspectives from those who lived through a dark, challenging part of our history which results in eye-opening experiences through the power of conversation. Our Student Awareness Days reach between 250-1,000 students and individuals throughout the community, and we feel honored to be able to provide this opportunity in order to fight against hate in society and to create a more peaceful world.
