Senior Manager of Legislative Affairs and Point-Person for Disability Inclusion Issues
Aaron Kaufman joined The Jewish Federations of North America’s Washington, D.C. office in January 2016, where he leads their disability work, helping Federations become more inclusive and welcoming of people with disabilities. He also serves as a Federation lobbyist on Capitol Hill.
Aaron is the former Vice Chair of the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council and has served on the Board of the National Association of Developmental Disabilities Councils and the Board of Disability Rights Maryland. Having Cerebral Palsy, Aaron feels he brings a unique perspective to JFNA’s efforts on behalf of people with disabilities.
