Seraphic Fire concert: JEWISH VOICES

Conductor James K. Bass leads the artists of Seraphic Fire in a contemporary program entitled Jewish Voices, an a capella performance that elevates the voices of today’s Jewish composers. Shirim L’yom Tov, a set of celebratory songs by Pulitzer-prize-winning composer Shulamit Ran, offers wisdom and inspiration. The contemporary sounds and thought-provoking music of Julia Wolfe, David Lang, and Moira Smiley examine the rich tapestry of the Jewish experience. This is about more than music; it’s an exploration of culture and connection.
