Community Commemoration of Oct 7th

| Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek in Tamarac will be conducting a special commemoration program in the synagogue on October 6th, 2024, starting at 11:30 am, marking the first anniversary of the horrific Oct 7th massacre. We invite the Jewish community to join us for a moving memorial service. Led by Rabbis Rami Pavolotsky and Daniela Szuster, we will reflect on the meaning of this day, and will honor those who lost their lives as victims of terror or while defending the State of Israel. After the congregational service, we will join the virtual Global Commemoration at noon, broadcast live from Israel 12 pm Eastern time, 7 pm Jerusalem time. This has been organized by the Conservative/Masorti Movement, together with hundreds of congregations around the world, including 100 synagogues in Israel. This will be a special “yahrzeit “, to offer healing and reflection. Please join us in commemoration, in consolation and in community. |
