Combating Hate on Social Media

Bringing together a panel of educators, authors, influencers and creatives to discuss methods of identifying misinformation and stereotypes online and how to combat bullying and hate on social media. Featuring: Debbie Lechtman, Amelia Adams and Ben Freeman and moderated by Facing History and Ourselves.​

This program is presented by David Posnack JCC through The Overlap. The Overlap brings together communities from different backgrounds to celebrate cultural diversity through comedy, music, art exhibitions/workshops, literary events, and films screenings. The goal is to provide face-to-face encounters and positive experiences, revealing that the differences that divide us are smaller than the common ground we share.
