Dr. Ladan Pourmasiha

Dr. Ladan Pourmasiha is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine, where she also earned her Masters of Biomedical Science. Dr. Pourmasiha trained at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida at the Department of Family Medicine during her residency. After residency, Dr. Pourmasiha focused on patient care and treatment at many well-known urgent cares/high acuity clinics. She has used her skills to focus on both understanding a patient’s individual past medical history and present needs to help aid in patient care efficiently.

Dr. Pourmasiha has been a practicing physician and Medical Director for Baptist Health urgent Cares in Broward County since 2013. She continues to be very involved in-patient care, patient satisfaction, as well as many administrative duties. Currently, Dr. Pourmasiha holds a board certification from the American Board of Osteopathic Physicians in Family Medicine.

Dr. Pourmasiha has served as a member of the American Osteopathic Association and maintains her involvement with the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association since 2009. She strives to continually improve health care practices as she emphasizes patient education, collaboration between physician and patient during medical decision making, and understanding the impact socioeconomic situations can have on certain medical conditions.
