Financial Planning: Charitable gifting and estate planning techniques to help protect yourself and your family
Financial and Estate Planning should always be a personalized/customized process. There is no such thing as a one size fits all. The seminar will focus on educating you on the five estate planning documents that everyone should know to ensure their wishes and goals are executed when they aren’t able to do so themselves. We will also be covering basic charitable gifting ideas to help maximize your tax deductions and donations to the organization.
Keven Milgram, Director of Financial Planning, Bienenfeld, Lasek & Starr, LLC
Keven Milgram describes financial planning as a combination of “art and science,” an apt analogy for a Visual Arts major who took an Economics class and then never looked back. Keven discovered his love of finance at Florida International University, where he met his first mentor at a Hillel-organized Career Night. Right then, he decided he would become a financial planner. After graduating with a degree in Finance and Business Administration, his path led him to Bienenfeld, Lasek & Starr, LLC (BLS).
Over a decade later, Keven continues to help clients as a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner with a special focus on retirement planning. He describes his role as being “the point person for a lot of clients.” Because he oversees putting together the client’s financial plan, Keven is actively involved with every aspect of a client’s strategy. “I like seeing the whole picture,” he says, “and I like staying current by constantly reading: our work is never done.”
