Be A Hero-Run4Kids 5K Race

Get set to Run, Jog or Walk! The David Posnack JCC (DPJCC) and Laurens Kids will once again host the Be A Hero – Run4Kids 5k Race at the DPJCC’s 40-acre Campus in Davie, Florida, attracting participants from the tri-county area. Everyone of all ages is welcome to participate in this family 5K, including competitive and amateur runners, joggers, walkers, teams, stroller pushers, wheelchair racers, and tail-waggers. The event will benefit the JCC’s Giborim United program, which includes enrichment classes and summer camp for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities, as well as Lauren’s Kids programs which educates adults and children about child sexual abuse prevention through in-school curricula, awareness campaigns, and speaking engagements.
