Speaker: Professor Jon M. Garon
Jon M. Garon is Professor of Law and Director of the Intellectual Property, Cybersecurity, and Technology Law program at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Lawteaching Constitutional Law, Contracts, Privacy Law, Entertainment Law, and many other courses. He is a nationally recognized authority on entertainment law, copyright, information privacy, technology regulation, and free speech. He is the author of four books and more than 50 book chapters and articles, and he has presented at more than 200 programs across the U.S. A Minnesota native, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 1985 and his juris doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1988.
