A Parental Chat with Sara Bookspan

This virtual discussion will focus on the overarching needs of supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Parents and caregivers will learn to reframe common misconceptions and thinking when supporting a person with special needs. The tools and strategies outlined in this chat are useful tools that provide a person-centered approach to working with all types of learners.
Speaker: Sara Bookspan is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and certified International Behavior Analyst with a background in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She is also a person-centered planning facilitator which gives her work a holistic and wrap-around approach to services. Sara has been supporting diverse communities since 2006 through inclusive, person-centered and evidence-based behavior services for individuals of all ages.
